RF Microneedling Enhance Your Look with a Non-Invasive Treatment

Microneedling has earned itself a sterling reputation thanks to its ability to create impressive anti-aging results on the face…but did you know that it can also be used on other parts of the body, as well? Your face isn’t the only place where the aging process becomes visually apparent, and RF microneedling at the Virginia Institute of Plastic Surgery is a great way to address these unwanted changes, without having to deal with any kind of extensive recovery period or downtime. We’re pleased to offer a number of minimally invasive, non-surgical options in addition to our wide variety of surgical choices. When you’re ready to learn more, a member of our team is standing by. Am I the Ideal Candidate?

Getting to know you and your cosmetic goals is one of the first and most important steps in our process, and will help us understand everything we need to know to guide you to the treatment that’s right for you and will fit along nicely with your lifestyle.

RF Microneedling is a great way to address topical skin issues—like fine lines and wrinkles—while also enjoying the tissue tightening effects caused by the radiofrequency energy, for a slimming effect that leaves you looking contoured and slim. It can be applied to the following areas:

  • Face
  • Jowls
  • Neck
  • Chest
  • Arms
  • Thighs
  • Abdomen

Your RF Microneedling Experience

This is an impressively versatile treatment that can be applied to a variety of different areas on the body, making the procedure a bit different, depending on the size and location of your treatment area. Before the day of your session, your practitioner will give you a thorough idea of exactly what you can expect from the experience. Most treatments only take between 15 and 60 minutes to complete.

Once the treatment is over, you’ll experience a bit of redness and tenderness in the treatment area, somewhat similar to a sunburn. This will fade over the course of the next few days. We’ll give you thorough aftercare instructions that will help you maintain your exciting results for as long as possible. When you’re ready to learn more about how this procedure can help you, reach out and set up your initial consultation.
