Your BodyTite Experience

BodyTite utilizes a sophisticated, patented technology called Radio-Frequency Assisted Liposuction (or RFAL) that works on three separate levels, simultaneously contracting the dermis, the subdermal connective collagen matrix, and deeper fat cells. Unlike other technologies, RFAL works by passing an electrical current between a thin internal cannula placed inside the skin and an external electrode placed on top of the skin.

As the electrical current converts its energy into heat within the various layers of tissue, it simultaneously disrupts the fat cells while contracting collagen strands in the treatment area. In addition to these impressive benefits, RFAL is specially designed to maintain a constant temperature level, for consistently optimal heating over a relatively large treatment area. In other words, you’ll enjoy impressive results after a very quick and effective treatment session.

A typical BodyTite treatment only takes about 15 minutes to complete, per treatment area. Your surgeon will make a set of incisions about the size of an 18-gauge needle, which is significantly smaller than what you might experience with traditional liposuction. BodyTite is a minimally-invasive treatment that still involves the use of a liposuction cannula, so we usually recommend planning for about five to 10 days of rest and downtime. This will, of course, depend on the number and location of treatment areas.
