Sculptra for Buttock Lift
Sculptra is a type of dermal filler that stimulates the growth of collagen in the skin. It has been in use for replenishing lost facial volume. Renuva for Butt Lift
Renuva Adipose Matrix was cleared by the FDA as an injectable procedure. It doesn’t involve any lasers, incisions, or cuts. Donor fat is purified and dehydrated into powder form before being turned into an injectable filler of the highest purity and integrity. There are several biological stimulating factors in this matrix filler, such as cytokines, growth factors, and peptides.
The matrix helps in filling targeted areas and smoothing wrinkles and lines. It also creates volume by stimulating the body’s natural fat growth. The results of this growth matrix treatment are better as compared to using the patient’s own fat.
You can achieve 80 to 100% correction with this treatment. Further, research is still underway for determining the efficacy of Renuva with clinical evidence. A single donor can provide 1.5cc of dehydrated filler. Patients generally require 3cc Renuva for achieving rounder, fuller and shapelier buttocks.
Injectable Butt Lift Procedure
The surgeon will mark the treatment region after assessing it with you in a standing position. Lidocaine may be added to the Renuva or Sculptra formulation for improving comfort. Lidocaine may also be applied to the entry points of the cannula. Sculptra or Renuva will be added to the target area using a microcannula or a small needle.
Your surgeon will ask you to stand up for injecting a portion of the injection. The remainder filler will be administered while you are lying down flat on your stomach. The surgeon will massage the buttock region after placing the injections in the treatment area. This will be done for a few minutes to ensure even displacement of the filler.
It takes about 30 to 40 minutes for completing each treatment. Most patients can achieve desired results in just 2 to 3 sessions. Your surgeon will space the treatments at 4 to 6 weeks intervals.
