Liposonix Richmond

Liposonix RichmondLiposonix with Dr. Burton Sundin & Dr. Reps Sundin at Virginia Institute of Plastic Surgery

Dr. Sundin now offers Liposonix for Richmond, VA patients. The Liposonix treatment is a non-surgical fat reduction procedure that can get rid of targeted fat around your waistline. The treatment is completed in just one office visit and lasts about one hour. With little to no downtime or aftercare, you can resume your active lifestyle right away.*

Targeted, Effective, Custom Contouring™

Delivering real results with Liposonix is simple, but the technology that powers Liposonix is highly advanced. Because Liposonix focuses high-intensity, high-frequency energy below the surface, it works differently than other “sculpting” devices, offering true Custom Contouring™ that other treatments just can’t deliver.*

How Liposonix Works?

  • Liposonix creates a temperature rise above 56°C effectively destroying the targeted adipose tissue without damaging tissue outside of the intended focal zone.
  • Macrophages are attracted to treated adipose tissue, engulfing free lipids and cellular debris.
  • Destroyed cells are naturally processed by the body and excreted gradually over 8-12 weeks.*

Is Liposonix Right For You?

Liposonix is not for everyone. But if you are close to your ideal size and have stubborn, unwanted fat around your waistline you just can’t seem to get rid of with diet and exercise, then yes, Liposonix may be for you. The best way to know for sure is to schedule a consultation with a physician. There are also some general factors that can help you determine if you are an appropriate candidate.*
