Uncover The Benefits Of Restylane®*

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component in our skin that retains moisture and keeps us looking supple and youthful. This is an important part of the firmness and elasticity of our skin. As we age, our ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases which can lead to fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging. Enter Restylane®! The Restylane® family of products is comprised of a formulation of hyaluronic acid gel that works to instantly and visibly smooth facial wrinkles and add fullness to areas of the face where it is desired for a fresher, more rejuvenated appearance.*

Restylane® is the world’s most studied dermal filler and has been used safely and effectively for over a decade. We are pleased to be able to offer our patients of Virginia Institute of Plastic Surgery (VIPS) which is conveniently located in the Richmond and Tysons Corner, Virginia area the option of using Restylane® injectable fillers as an alternative to surgery for their rejuvenation and aesthetic needs. Dr. Reps Sundin and Dr. Burton Sundin are Board Certified Plastic Surgeons who lead a professional and caring staff at VIPS. Our goal is to offer comprehensive treatment plans that are centered around the highest quality of patient care. If Restylane® injections are the best option for your needs, we will ensure they are done with supreme efficacy producing beautiful, natural, and youthful looking results!*

Which Areas Can Be Treated With Restylane®?

Restylane® injections offer a fantastic non-surgical alternative to facial rejuvenation and adding or restoring fullness and volume. Since the hyaluronic acid gel formation in Restylane® bonds with your skin’s water molecules, the areas injected also regain moisture and luminosity. Restylane® products are very versatile and can be used to suit a variety of needs including:*

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
  • Smile lines
  • Depressions or scars
  • Lips

    The Restylane® Experience

Treatment with Restylane® injections offer the benefit of immediate results with no downtime, so you will not have to alter your active lifestyle to have the procedure done. Treatment sessions are generally done in under 30 minutes, but we allow enough time to ensure you are comfortable with the experience. Side effects are not common, but can include bruising and swelling at the injection site. Once in your skin, the hyaluronic acid gel creates volume resulting in a more healthy and vital appearance. When injected into the lips, it creates sensuous volume and natural looking and feeling results that can last up to 6 months.*
